Nellie C. Wendling, 84, of Decatur passed away Thursday October 21, 2010 at McKinley Court in Decatur.

Graveside service will be 1:30 PM Monday October 25, 2010 at Maroa Cemetery in Maroa with Pastor Russell J. Weise officiating. Dawson & Wikoff Chapel North, Highway 51, Decatur is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com

Nellie was born on August 23, 1926 in Maroa the daughter of William O. and Bertha Schubert Wendling. Nellie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Salvation Army.

Nellie is survived by her brother Wilber Wendling and wife Doris of Tampa FL. and her sister Jeanette Schnepper of Decatur; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and five sisters.
